POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN MINISTRY (PGDM) AND MASTER OF DIVINTY (MDiv)!

NATURE OF THE P. GDM & M.DIV. PROGRAMMES

The P.GDM and M.Div. programmes are designed primarily for graduate candidates seeking ordination within the Methodist denomination. The programme helps to prepare students for a life time of fruitful leadership in ministry.Candidates from other denominations may however take advantage of the programme but would be required to take additional directed or independent courses to meet their denomination requirement for ordination. Non ordination independent candidates may also take this course for self-enrichment.

OVERVIEW OF THE P.GDM AND M.DIV. PROGRAMMES

  1. The central aim of the P.GDM and M.Div. programmes is to equip people for effective leadership service through the various full time vocations of the church, ordained and non-ordained. Because ministry is a profession practiced in community, preparation at Methodist Theological Institute occurs not only in the classroom, but also in contexts provided by various communities of faith.
